Flick Flick

Flick
back.

Alt+Q takes you to the tab you were just on. Hold it to pick any recent tab, the way Alt+Tab picks a window.

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera and Arc. A one-minute tour shows you everything after you install.

Try it: hold Alt and tap Q. Or tap the keys.

Keys

Seven keys. That is the whole manual.

Each one does one thing, and none of them replaces a shortcut your browser already has. Change any of them whenever you like.

AltQ

Flick to your last tab. Press it again to flick back.

Hold Alt tap Q Q

Pick any recent tab. Your tabs appear with pictures. Let go, or click one, to open it.

Click a link

Peek with Glance. The link opens in a floating window. Open it full size or side by side without reloading, or press Esc twice to close it.

AltK

Open the command bar. Find any tab, bookmark or page from your history, do quick maths, or type “remind me to call Mom at 6”.

AltL

Copy the link, with the trackers already removed.

AltP

Picture in picture for the video on the page.

Alt/

See every shortcut on any page, any time.

On a Mac, Alt is the Option key (⌥).

Features

One extension instead of a toolbar full.

The best ideas from Arc, Zen and PowerToys, in any Chromium browser. Turn on what you want, ignore the rest.

Switch and find

The Alt+Q switcher, a keyboard-only switcher you type into, and one search box for tabs, archived tabs, bookmarks and history. It does sums and converts units too.

Glance, split and sidebar

Peek at links in a floating window, put two tabs side by side, and keep vertical tabs with pinned favourites and tab groups in the side panel.

Sound and video

Volume up to 600% for each tab, playback speed, and picture in picture. Remembered for each site, even after you close the browser.

Page tools

Screenshots of what you see, an area or the whole page. Colour picker, ruler, font finder, draw on page, show your clicks for recordings, reader view, read aloud, dark mode and translate.

Focus and routines

Focus sessions that pause distracting sites, screen time with daily limits, reminders in plain words, and gentle water and break routines.

Bit Bit, the pet

A tiny desk pet with a personality. It shows your focus timer in its eyes, levels up as you work, tells you about your day, and naps when you step away. Asleep until you wake it.

Private and light

Your tabs are your business.

Nothing you browse ever leaves your computer. No ads, no tracking, no account needed.

  • Stays on your computer. Settings, notes and screen time live in your browser. Sync is optional, to your own Google Drive.
  • Light by design. Moving the mouse costs nothing, background tabs cost nothing, and tab pictures are kept in memory only.
  • Changes nothing you know. Your browser’s own shortcuts and clicks keep working exactly as before.
  • Every feature has a switch. Keep only what helps you.

Questions

Good to know.

Why Alt+Q and not Ctrl+Tab?

Chrome keeps Ctrl+Tab for itself and lets no extension change it. Alt+Q sits right under your fingers, works the same way, and you can pick any other key on your browser’s shortcuts page.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Arc and Opera. Opera has no side panel, so vertical tabs are not available there; everything else works.

Why does it ask to work on all sites?

Only so it can show the switcher on the page you are on, open Glance when you click a link, remember your volume for each site, and show the pet. It reads no page content and sends nothing anywhere. It asks once, and you can say no.

Will it slow my browser down?

No. It does almost nothing until you press a key. Mouse movement and background tabs cost nothing, and every feature can be switched off.

How do I learn it?

A one-minute tour opens when you install it. Press Alt+/ on any page to see every shortcut, and take the tour again any time from Settings.

Is it free?

Yes, with no ads and nothing to sign up for.
